CONCEPT:
Less is Monster
The ’less-is-more’ philosophy behind all Monsters underlines Ducati’s never-ending pursuit of genuinely compact, high performance motorcycles, but these new models have succeeded in being even more ’pared down’ than their predecessors.
Every single component has been redesigned and redeveloped so now more than ever, form follows function. With any details detracting from the Monster concept being eliminated, ’less-is-more’ also means ’less-is-Monster’. Less weight plus more torque equals fun-filled riding.

The Ducati Monster 795 was specially developed for the adrenaline-hungry riders. Its style screams power and demands instant respect, while the massive tires are ready to bite the asphalt with pose.
The motorcycle is built around an 803cc, L-Twin, air cooled engine with 2 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder. The unit generates a maximum power o 64kW (87 CV) at 8250 rpm and 78 Nm (8 Kgm) of torque at 6250 Rpm. The engine is fueled by a 15 liters fuel tank (13.5 liters on the ABS version) and is mated to a 6-speed transmission with APTC wet multiplate clutch.
The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a light tubular steel Trellis frame with aluminium rear sub-frame which sits on front 43mm upside-down forks and a rear progressive linkage suspension with preload and rebound adjustable monoshock.
Other features worthy of being mentioned include a triple-parabola headlight, LED taillights and front and rear disc brakes.
